Spotify plans to launch a new premium subscription called “Music Pro” in the fall of 2025. This subscription, priced at $18 per month, would be $6 more expensive than the regular Premium plan. In return, subscribers would gain access to high-resolution audio quality, exclusive concert ticket pre-sales, and a DJ streaming option.
Spotify has already secured new licensing agreements with Universal Music and Warner Music, but an agreement with Sony Music is still pending.
Apple Music is expected to continue offering attractive deals in 2025. Currently, new subscribers can enjoy a six-month trial for just $3 per month.
